Set up Darkcomet RAT - Negative - 06-29-2012 04:39 PM

Set up No-IP


Step 1.1
Download DarkComet from

Step 1.2
Go to

and create a new account.


Step 1.3
After you created a new account go to "Add a Host".

Step 1.4
Fill in the hostname and click Create Host.

Step 1.5
Go to

page and download DUC for the OS you are using and install it.

Set up DarkComet

Step 2.1
Open the program called "DUC" and login with no-ip username and password.

Step 2.2
Click "Select hosts" and choose the host we created on step 1.4

Step 2.3
Open DarkComet RAT and click on the bar called "Darkcomet-Rat". Than click "Listen to new port". There add the port you port-forwarded.

Step 2.4
Click again on the blue bar and choose Server Module > Full Editor.
A new window will show up.

Step 2.5
Main settings.
1.Click on the button next to Process Mutex a couple times.
2. Change the server id to whatever you want.
3. Click Active FBW. [Note: Dont enable it if the crypter you're using enables firewall bypass.

Step 2.6
Go to Network Settings
1. Add your no-ip domain on "IP/DNS"
2. On port add the number you entered on "Step 2.3"(the forwarded port).
3. Click Add

Step 2.7
Go to Module Shield
1. Enable all the options on "Stealth and Persistence Functions".

Step 2.8
Go to Stub Finalization
1. Tick "Save the profile when stub successfully generated".
2. Click Build Stub
Congratulations! You have downloaded DC, created a no-ip account and set up DarkComet.

So the RAT is basically nonfunctional? Doesn't the RAT connect to DarkCoder's site? To be able to connect to No-IP?

Whenever I go to test my server (whether using Sandbox or not) it doesn't appear in the DarkComet Users section. Any tips you can give me for fixing this issue?

DC is still fully functional.

Have you disabled your firewall?

Any feedback on the tut?
