News Team Group - USMC - 12-22-2011 03:38 PM

I decided to take over the weekly newsletter (with permission from CrazyMouse) on HackSociety. I was told to create a user group for anyone wanting to participate in this.

Are you VIP? - Yes, I am VIP.

Do you have 5 members? - No. Not at the moment.

Why do I want to create this group? - I want to create this group because I want to encourage people to participate more in our community and give back to our hard working staff. The staff on this forum have been working their asses off since day 1 for this forum. I want to take over the newsletter to get one less job off of their hands. I will also add user created parts into the newsletter as well. This would pretty much be like an informative essay.

Thank you H3X and I feel ill for helping me out. My only problem is that it would be pointless having 5 VIP members writing in the news at one time. We only need 3-4 members including me. And, if you plan on joining, the requirements from you a week are a 2-5 paragraph essay for me to add into the newsletter over a topic of your choice. Don't let that scare you in case you're not good with grammar, I'll be editing every piece before it goes into the newsletter. All you got to do is love to type. Big Grin And, if you want to join, PM me. Suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, bro. I'm just concerned on how I'm going to find 5 VIP members that are active and have good grammar. I don't want to have to edit the whole damn piece they'll give me for the newsletter. If it was up to me, I'd just be in the group by myself. I wish there could be a staff application for a News Team.

If we get perks, every one else will want perks for their groups. So, it's not going to happen. But, I will try my best to get us a chat box. Working on that now.
